Really authentic Mexican food, Excellent staff, amazing menu, outstanding amount of Tequila Choices. The owner, Leo, and his family dedicate his resources during hurricane Sandy providing meals for the victims, in spite of being a victim himself. Like a phoenix from the ashes, his restaurant was remodeled and is better than ever now. He kept his menu affordable even though it should be double what he is charging. Enjoy.
Best Mexican food in NJ, no doubt. The owner, Leo, is a master chef and a nice guy too. Juan the bartender is back and makes the best Margaritas you will ever have. The food is legit Mexican and the delicious Salsa Chips are made on premises. It's a haul from my place but well worth the trip every time. Another plus: they have one of the biggest Tequila selections I've ever seen.
Just went there on Friday with a few friends from work to celebrate another great birthday (which in my case all month! and was treated like a queen! The entire place sang happy birthday to me!!!! And it was packed! The food margaritas are always good! And last but not least....Leo, the owner, always stops by to say hello! We all had a blast!!!

My favorite restaurant in Highlands! Everything is FRESH and the portions are large, so it’s nice to be able to take the rest home, as a second meal. Service is great and staff is very friendly. Drinks are also amazing, especially the margaritas. It’s small and quaint, so it’s nice to go as a couple or as a family. Highly recommend!
We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and immediately introduced himself. The margaritas and the food were excellent and the portions were enough to bring leftovers home and enjoy again! Will definitely be returning soon!
Came here after a couple of years to see if it was as good as we remembered. It was. It's a wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend.
