Today I chose Chili 's for lunch. It 's not so much that I was in the mood for Chili 's, but when you have a disability, sometimes convenience matters more than what you want. Chili 's has the To-Go option, in which they 'll bring your food out to yourcar. After I received the text that my food was ready, I waited in my car for another 15 minutes. Still no food. I saw anotherTo-Go customer have to go inside to get their food. Another 5 minutes came and went. Resignedly, I grabbed my cane and put onmy coat. It was fairly warm out, but it was also raining. Unfortunately, I couldn 't carry my umbrella because I was carrying mycane and would need the other hand to hold the drink. I hobbled over the curve and went to the To-Go door. Surprisingly, astaff member met me at the door with my food. She said she was just about to bring it out. How convenient. Awkwardly, shehanded me the bag of food and the drink. All of that embarrassment aside, the food was cold and terrible. I miss when Chili 'stasted good! Will I be going to Chili 's again? You tell me.
