We live nearby and no matter how many times we have come to this location we have always left upset. I think it’s time for us to officially put chilis on the skip list instead of having it as a easy weekly spot for us to eat at. Tonight was no different. It was not crowded like always and we asked for a booth and the host declined saying that he did not have any available despite me counting six open booths on the active side of the restaurant. This Chili's Grill location has declined rapidly! We visited on a Tuesday around 5 pm, and the food took ages to arrive. When it did, everything was burnt and dry. I thought it might be an off day. The manager did comp my untouched meal, but what happened to the portions? We returned on Saturday because my daughter wanted a burger, and the experience was just as bad. Our drinks arrived promptly, but the chips didn’t come until we asked 20 minutes later (and from what I know, servers have direct access to the chips—they don’t come from the back). When I asked the server to bring the manager, she said the best she could do was remove the item from my bill and refused to send the manager over. This made me wonder if they were operating without a manager on a late Saturday night. We were seated quickly and requested a booth, but despite several being available, we were placed at a table. Our waitress, Hannah, was pleasant, but we only saw her three times: to take our order, bring the appetizers, and serve our main course. She didn't check on us for drink refills, so we had to ask another waitress for help. Even the manager, who was just walking around, didn't offer any assistance. To make matters worse, the food was disappointing. The mozzarella sticks were burnt and greasy, and the fajitas were overly salty. There are many other restaurants with much better service. Overall, it was a truly awful experience.
This type of restaurant appears to have gone downhill recently, and this location is no different. Only about half of the restaurant was open, and we had to wait around 30 minutes for a table for six, even though there were many empty tables in the other half on a Saturday night! The staff was adequate, but nothing outstanding. The food was good, and the drinks were excellent, both providing solid value. If you’re a couple seeking an affordable date night, Chili's still meets that need.
We waited a long time to be seated, and once we were, we sat for nearly 30 minutes without a waiter stopping by to take our order. When we finally caught a waiter's attention, he acted like he didn't see us, even though he was serving tables right next to us. Frustrated, we ended up leaving. There are many other restaurants that offer much better service. The service here was absolutely terrible.

Jena is an exceptional server—she's attentive and very friendly. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. The burgers are incredible, and you definitely won't regret getting the bottomless chips—they're so tasty! I truly enjoy eating here. When you stop by, make sure to ask for Jena. I'm a travel photographer from Florida and Chicago.
