They had closed off a large section, leaving only about five tables in use. The host was standing at the bar, seemingly distracted, while another staff member was taking an order. About a year ago, we visited Chili's Grill and were told there would be an hour-long wait, even though the dining area was completely empty with many open tables. We were denied service because we didn’t have a reservation, so we chose to go elsewhere.
