Chilli & Basil Thai Restaurant

Just went here last night after trying to find something to eat with my partner at first I was a bit hesitant as I'm not a big fan of Thai food. However, this restaurant blew me away. We ordered a mixed entree platter, tom yum soup with extra chilli I ordered Thai Green Curry  and  my partner ordered Basil Fried Rice. The service from the waitress and chef were great, I'm so happy to find a place where it isn't about eating and then paying,  they made sure that we liked our meal and were concerned when my partner and I didn't finish the whole main and also the entree since we didn't eat the prawn spring roll. [Not big fans of prawns]. Appreciated that extra mile. The mains were just .. DELIC...

We ordered Pad Thai chicken, Pad See Ew with prawns, Massaman curry with beef, along with large servings of steamed rice and roti with peanut sauce. For dessert, we had banana fritters with ice cream and steamed coconut with ice cream. The main dishes were delicious and well-portioned, not overly sweet like some Thai dishes can be. The desserts were good, but we were too full to fully enjoy them. This restaurant stood out to us because they served a generous amount of jasmine rice with each dish, making it a great value. We didn't have to wait long for our main dishes, and although dessert took a bit longer, it was worth the wait. It's easy to see why this restaurant is popular with locals...

Last Saturday, our craving for Thai food led us to this hidden gem located across from Bayswater Railway Station. Despite its unassuming appearance on a quiet street, this restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We were delighted to discover that the food was among the best Thai dishes we have ever tasted. The Thai Chilli Basil Rice was amazing, but the Traditional Red Curry was absolutely mind-blowing - the best we've ever had. The staff was friendly, and the chef even took the time to chat with us. We will definitely be returning for more and are thrilled to have found this place. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures because we couldn't resist digging in.

This restaurant in Bayswater is one of the best spots for a delightful dining experience. The meals are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Delicious, fresh and fragrant plenty of fresh herbs and not too heavy on the chilli perfect Thai food. The Roti make sure you order it or you'll never know what you've missed out until now.Thoroughly enjoyed every single morsel. Thank you! We will return!

True hidden gem of bayswater. It's reasonable price and good quantity of food. Definitely value for money.Tom yum soup perfect for winter nights and delicious green curry and rice. Surely recommended dine out or take away

Very good food. Probably one of the best thai places in the area. Once they got my order wrong which was rectified but involved another drive from home and thats why I am giving them a 4.5.

Authentic Thai. Great staff and the chef Max came out for a chat. Food is fantastic and full of flavour. My mouth is still zinging. Love this place.

Soft shell crab was amazing service was excellent and the restaurant was very fresh and inviting a great discovery we can't wait to come back
