I recently visited this restaurant for lunch, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The food didn’t impress me, earning a rating of just 2 out of 5. It felt lacking in flavor and presentation. The service was even more of a letdown, receiving a mere 1 out of 5; the staff seemed inattentive and unhelpful. As for the atmosphere, while it wasn’t terrible, it still left much to be desired, so I rated it a 2 out of 5. Overall, I can't say that I would recommend dining here based on my experience.
This is the house special lo mine. Very good! My favorite dish from here is pork foo young. Holy smoke! This sauce is amazing. Where I am from Chinese restaurants, use Braunschweig. China City uses my Hoisin sauce with her. It is heated so that it does not cool. I picture it when I find it lol I always ask that my egg roll is cooked extra. It brings such a better taste and the skin is crispy. It is worth noting if you are not in Verona.
Friendly and efficient service! We've been customers for over 20 years and have always received generous portions with every order. The quality of the food is excellent. While you can dine in, most patrons opt for takeout. The restaurant has a large parking lot, making it convenient. We usually come for lunch, and the price per person is typically between $10 and $20.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I found roaches, which was very off-putting. The service was lacking, and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I would rate the food and service both a 1 out of 5. The only dish I can tentatively recommend is the Egg Foo Young, but even that didn't make up for the overall unpleasant experience.

Since moving to Staunton we are still trying to find our new favorite restaurants. We found a favorite at China City in Verona. The pictures don't reflect how delicious the Fried Dumplings and Egg Foo Young were. We had a classic Chinese food and movie night at home and really enjoyed it. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
Super delicious food!! Especially their dumplings steamed. OMG never had that good of dumplings unless it's in a buffet. Owner was really nice and food portion is very generous for the price. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
The ordering process was efficient! The cooking time was faster than indicated. The meal, my favorite hot and sour soup with two egg rolls was delicious! The quiet dune in experience was enjoyed with a good book that everyone should read.
I visited the restaurant and ordered General Tso's Chicken and Sesame Chicken. The sesame chicken was the best I've had from any takeout place. It was crispy without being overly coated in corn flour. I will definitely return next time!
