I started looking over their very limited menu when a girl came from behind a new screen which gives a semblance of a hint of an idea that the front, ordering counter/tables area is separate from the back, storage/kitchen area. I said to the girl, in a questioning tone, new management? to which she replied that she has been there for about a year. I lived in N. Olmsted for 17 years and have always felt this was the best Chinese food place around. The original owners sold the business but the new owners still have the same recipes and run with it. The original location was a full sit down restaurant but this place is mainly for takeout. They do have a couple of tables but it's not really the atmosphere for a sit down dinner. However, my wife and I do not live close by anymore but we have relatives near there and they let us sit and have their absolute best Sesame Chicken before we go visit them. We have not had a better sesame chicken anywhere else and believe me we tried over the years. We drive 40 minutes now just to have their food...
I agree 100% with Collison Alert. Is the best Chinese restaurant in miles from this area. Your General Tso and Sesame Chicken are amazing with fresh juicy chicken, never freeze-dried or dry. Their sauces are pleasant and their fried rice is never dry. Yes, it is a realization, but the former owner had a nice meal in the restaurant only west of Clauge rd, from Lorain rd, but the chains killed it, so the new owner moved west for cheaper rent. Try it, go back.
no frills Chinese, owner operated. I had a positive experience. had the $4 general tos' lunch special. everything tasted as if it was made by scratch, so it was different from the taste of most Chinese places. the hunch was crispy, and the rush was really great. large homemade taste. the ingenious toss sauce was different. the fried rice was not my cup of tea. also they were from dietary coke. with distance my favorite Chinese restaurant ever. we moved and still drove with them because nobody compares. the best egg rolls I've ever had, and the dizziness is amazing. they are also super nice and know us with names and orders that make me feel special. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Amazing takeover. Seats are available, but it is basically and not generally used. The entire front of the shop on a somewhat cold day was too cold to even wait. So get the takeout because it's good. Our MSG-sensible family members had no problems so that no added MSG promise appears correct.
