China Restaurant Lee's Garden

You need taste just a morsel of one dish to know this place is a cut above both in terms of the chef's skill and the quality of the ingredients used. I had a particular request which was noted and acted upon. This restaurant is run as a husband and wife business he being Chinese Malaysian and she from Vietnam. Their birthright covers a huge spectrum of yumminess and I would not be surprised to discover that many of the other diners eating next to me had driven many kilometres to sample this cuisine. The restaurant is on parallel street to the lake and some of the tables on the terrace overlook the water. I had some stellar dishes the standout is the sesame pork (see picture) and malaysian yellow curry (see picture) which was authentic with respect to the balance of sweet and spicy. The hot crisp jumbo spring rolls are bursting with a bounty of piping hot veggies each lovely julienned and seasoned with the musk that is unmistakably white pepper. Special mention too for the cashew chicken which was a masterful. (see picture) It seems as if every dish is carefully crafted and that each plate is served with passion and heart.I recommend that you round off your dinner with a sample of the range of asian teas available and you're assure to leave sated with a happy tummy!!

We went on a warm Sunday evening, and we could have eaten outside. But we chose not too. So we were virtually alone inside. The waitress was very helpful, she even offered to speak to us in English. As there were 5 of us, we each ordered and dish and then we shared it among us. Everything was freshly made and very tasty. I can't say which dish we liked the most as they were all good. The service was good, the food was good and restaurant was clean and tidy. Small and a little off the beaten track but worth the search. We will definitely go again.

Tasty food, gentle kind service, and the pace was fitting. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and beef Bon gau, which the waitress recommended. I normally wouldn't pick as the ingredients weren't on the top of my list but the dish came out wonderfully with none of the elements overpowering the experience. My 15 year daughter thought it should get 5 out of 5.

Wir entschieden uns spontan für den Besuch des Lee's Garden und freuten uns über den Tisch auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Die Speiseauswahl ist sehr breit und das Preisniveau mehr als fair. Was geboten wird ist absolut sensationell! Grosses Kompliment - wir kommen bald wieder.

Excellent tasting Chinese food in a convenient old town location. Enjoyed the Sichuan chicken and spring rolls. Family run restaurant.
