I ordered food tonight, and the chicken looked like it had been reheated multiple times, but the inside was pink and clearly undercooked. For the first time ever, I felt compelled to complain about my meal. When I spoke with the manager, JD, he told me to "please accept the food this time, and I’ll make a note of it so it won’t happen again." Essentially, he expected me to eat undercooked chicken on this occasion, with the assurance that it wouldn't happen again in the future. The food was good, but I had an issue with tipping. I ordered delivery, and my total bill was $12. I mentioned that I would give the driver a $3 tip, but the person on the phone kept repeating, "$3?" as if it wasn't enough. I understand that times are tough, but I felt guilty for only offering a $3 tip. I'm not wealthy and can't afford to give more than that. It's frustrating to be made to feel this way. I did give a tip! Additionally, I've noticed that as soon as they take your order, they always state your total but barely mention the driver’s tip.
I have been coming here for many years and I am always left happy and satisfied with my meal. The service is always great and very friendly. Highly recommended.
