Recommend get your food and take it home. The older lady is less than friendly. Other personnel have been friendly and gracious. Food pretty typical. Normally, I like their chow mein (crispy noodles). But this last visit, the beef was more like pork texture and the dish was very bland; not what I'd remembered. I took it home, added soy sauce and hot seeds which saved it. I will definitely return it's one of the very few restaurants in Adel and areas west of Waukee. I ordered two sesame chicken dishes and two orders of crab rangoons, which totaled $40. However, I didn't receive one of the crab rangoons orders. After calling to confirm the quantity in an order, I had to drive back just to pick them up. When I arrived, the staff member was very rude, insisting that I needed to place a special dinner order for appetizers. My concern was not wanting extra items; it was that I didn't receive what I originally ordered. Overall, the $40 wasn't worth it for the dry chicken and the small crab rangoons.
