I do not write reviews like this but I absolutely had too. The food at this China Wok is TERRIBLE! We paid $55 for rice, pot stickers and egg rolls. Egg rolls were burnt, rice was very dry and meat was burnt as well, and the pot sticker meat was mush. We haven’t ordered food from China Wok in a couple years and now we remember why. We couldn’t eat any of it. I had to throw all the food away. I had to take it outside to the trash can because the smell is gross too! My husband called and spoke to the manager and she apologized but that’s about it. She said we serve this food like this all the time and didn’t take responsibility. I’ll never go to China Wok in Bayless again.
Really great family owned business. The hot and sour soup is the best around! Lovely people too, I can call and order just the soup to send to my senior mom, they get it right to her! Exceedingly kind too- one time I ordered a medium sized order got a wrong item- I called they were so quick to fix it! Just ran over and they gave us the correct item no problem! Highly recommend! I’m not sure if they still do dine in post pandemic I haven’t ever done that, but both take out and delivery is great!
Worst food I 've ate. . I ordered orange chicken,$16 later, and it was brown sauce that taste like a cheap marinade. I call to complain and their policy is bring it back and they will see what they can do. Very unpleasant.
Good and service is great, in my opinion. The seating area is a little bland, but I do get takeout, so that isn't too important to me. Recommend.

We absolutely love this place. I travel from Illinois to eat at this establishment. They are very nice and their food is terrific.
