After losing his location due to city zoning changes in Valence (Department of the Drome), Chef Guo Hua decided to move to Privas, a growing city in the Department of Ardeche. Situated on the outskirts of the city, China Wok offers a new idea in the Chinese restaurant concept. I previously reviewed this fabulous restaurant, and was one of its early patrons. That is when I met Mike and Aya Guo, the energetic young owners whom I congratulated on their new venture. They are now celebrating the fifth anniversary of their restaurant, situated on the main highway in Privas. The business grew to become one of the prime establishments in the Ardeche region.Their food presentation is still appealing. The freshness of the buffet is clearly evident, and the quality of the meats, poultry, and seafood is first class. Congratulations to Mike and Aya on their dedication and hard work!
The concept is very classic, however here there is a majestic and good quality choice for this kind of restaurant at will. The place is clean with a standard but very correct service. The room is not very big what changes other Asian buffets so the atmosphere is not so loud and very correct.
Good restaurant, warm welcome, beautiful decoration. The only bemol at the level of the buffet is not a classic of the kind raviole steam with the shrimp, st jacque fri and crab clamp fried.
