My partner and I went to this restaurant for a meal. When I informed the waitress about my nut allergy and asked to ensure my dishes were safe, the manager was called over. Shockingly, the manager told me that allergy sufferers were not welcome at the restaurant. I pressed for safety measures to prevent any risks, but I was dismissed and told that I was not important. The manager explained that all dishes were cooked in the same oil, even mentioning that chips could be cooked in oil that had previously contained nuts. Wish we had gone somewhere else to celebrate my sons birthday !! We ordered a celebration banquet for 3. The soup was cold , thick and gloopy, very little crab in all of the 3 bowls . I tried to get the attention of two members of staff to ask if they would warm our soup but this took so long that we decided not to bother and left it . All the soup was taken away and we waited and waited for the next course . The rest of the food was okay , some dishes extremely salty and warm not hot . Visited this evening, I asked for Chinese Delight Special Fried Rice with no pineapple as I am allergic. It came out with pineapple. Was sent back and replaced with hot food. The meal was basically just rice, very very little meat at all, left 60% of it. My partner had Special Chow Mein which we assumed was a meal but it was tiny and came on a starter plate for the same cost as my main meal. The food was luke warm and came with no noodles just a few bean sprouts. Was really looking forward to our meal, it used to be incredible here for food. The staff we're very nice though, can't fault.

This Chinese restaurant has been our favorite for many years, but our recent visit left us disappointed. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was thick and gelatinous, lacking in chicken compared to how it used to be. The chicken satay skewers were barely warm, and the usual food warmers with tea lights were missing from our table. It seems like there has been cost-cutting at the expense of quality, as even the lovely linen napkins have been replaced with thin red serviettes. Service was terrible. Very slow to take orders and serve food. Didn’t clear the table despite being asked twice. Food was ok but I found mine a bit heavy on the salt. We then got charged for the more expensive set meal which we didn’t get, all 12 of us, which resulted in an extra £28 on the bill! I would also stick to water as a pint of coke cost £3.80! Will definitely not be going back

Drove past Chinese Delight, and based on the name alone we decided we must go there. And boy oh boy what a terrific meal. Very good ambiance, staff were great and efficient and the food was top quality. Best Chinese in Frodsham and dare I say this side of the Great Wall. Will come again.

Dreadful service poor. staff rude . food not up to standard . had prawn cocktail had 4prawns. Main meal was like a child portion . Never cleared table between servings . Then overcharged us by £28. Charged £3.80 for a glass of coke. Would not go again anyone going check your bill

I’ve had many Chinese meals over the 50 years of my miserable existence but jeepers creepers the food in this beautifully decored restaurant is truly a delight. Had the banquet and my only complaint is that it could have done with an extra 2/3 prawn crackers. Highly recommended Reserva una mesa ahora

I visited this restaurant yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The service was top-notch - efficient but not rushed. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a meal.

Fantastic Restaurant. Half an hour drive from home but we went twice in 3 weeks! Food was delicious excellent value for money. Staff very friendly attentive. We will be back soon.
