this is the place to go for fish and chips when they visit butystwyth, right at the sea and a good value for money. must admit that the chips on my second visit were not so good, they were quite dry and crispy, I think we just have to have been unhappy and got the shredded before fresh boiled. Nevertheless, the fish was extremely fresh, hot and salted, only to my taste, it could not complain there. beautiful large portions curry sauce also. would be coming back in future
This place is definitely the best fish and chip shop in Aberystwyth. Located right by the sea, it serves incredibly fresh cod that is perfectly flaky, accompanied by thin, beautiful chips—crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The portion sizes are generous, and the dish is so well-prepared that you won't even need salt or vinegar.
The food is great and the portion sizes are generous. Without a doubt, this is the best chip shop in Borth. I can overlook the poor hygiene rating since I enjoy eating while preparing food, but if they could improve that and clean up the dirty lettering on the wall, it would easily be the best chip shop I've ever been to.
delicious chips, seems to taste so much better at the sea. in a carton. the usual salt and vinegar sprinkled over a decent amount of chips. the only chips I have eaten in butystwyth, so I can't compare them with other chip shops, but they were definitiw tasty and worth every single penny. highly recommended. had fish and chips twice and they were the best fish and chips we had in very long time. not greasy, crispy, big flocks of fishing. chips were crispy outside and fluffy inside. they did not stay on paper or greasy. the personal was friendly. well impressed
Great fish and chips, far better than expected and decent portions!! With the added bonus of actually making my fish look like a fish take a peak at the attached image, spooky but really cool.
This restaurant used to be fantastic. Unfortunately, today the chips were soggy, and the fish batter was thick and undercooked. I'm really disappointed and will need to look for a new place!

Absolutely disgraceful 8.50 for kid mini fish and chips what they dont tell you is the price on the board is just for the fish its 3.10 on top of every meal
