Chip N Gails - Reserva de mesa

We've visited hornsea many times over the years and have always seen chip n gails on the way down to the hub car park. This time we thought we would try it due to the countless good reviews, but we're left feeling more than a little disappointed. Chips they were a mix of beige slush and dark brown over fried crisps. None of which tasted great. Fish Top batter was okay, the underside was soggy and the fish tasted odd. Battered sausage they were the only good thing we had that evening (hence the two star review). I don't know if it was just the night we ordered or the batch of potatoes they'd had in, or the fish that was fried straight from the freezer, but it was really not worth the £30+ we...

After reading some fantastic reviews, my husband and I decided to try this fish and chip shop today. We were not disappointed! The portions were excellent, prices were reasonable, and most importantly, the food was delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive as well. Thank you for a great experience! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family, and we look forward to returning ourselves.

This is the best fish and chip shop in Hornsea! I highly recommend it. The staff are always friendly and enjoy chatting. I wouldn't choose any other place for my fish and chips.
