Update - September 2022: I visited this restaurant over the weekend to pick up dinner for my family, and I noticed some significant improvements. First, there were more staff members working during the evening shift, which made a difference. Second, the portion sizes were just right. Lastly, everything I ordered—six items in total—was excellent. I was very pleased with my recent experience and hope it continues on this positive trajectory. I also tried the new Garlic Guajillo steak, and it was outstanding. The description promised a tender steak, and despite my initial doubts about a potentially rubbery texture, I was genuinely impressed. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor....
The staff were extremely friendly and did a great job. However, the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed during the weekend lunch rush, with only two employees working. I placed my order through the app and expected to pick it up at 12:40, but it wasn’t ready until nearly twenty minutes later. This delay wasn’t the fault of the staff, as there was a line of over ten customers along with several pickup and DoorDash orders that needed to be processed. I strongly recommend hiring more staff and offering competitive wages if necessary. It can be quite frustrating to wait so long for fast food, especially after placing an order in advance.
I regularly visit this Chipotle, and I stopped by tonight on my way home from work. The staff member informed me that they were experiencing outages and couldn't fulfill my order. I really empathize with them since I work at Starbucks and we faced similar issues last year. I know they're doing their best, even dealing with customers who may not be very understanding. Overall, my experiences at this location have always been positive. The employees are friendly, quick, and efficient. When I place online orders, I never encounter any problems! Most of the time, I visit during busy hours, and they consistently put forth great effort!
I ordered a chicken burrito but ended up with one that barely had any chicken! I waited 30 minutes for my online order, and after 20 other customers were served, I finally received my burrito bowl, which had only four small pieces of chicken. I can't recommend ordering online from this place unless you're prepared to wait a long time or spend extra money for a full portion. I'm not a vegetarian—I enjoy chicken—but after this experience, I will be looking for a different spot for my burrito cravings. I frequently visit during their busiest hours, and I am always impressed by how effectively the staff handles everything. They are exceptionally organized and collaborate effortlessly, making sure that the line moves smoothly. With both customers dining in and delivery drivers waiting, I am astonished at how they keep the two types of orders separate. If you haven't witnessed the store during this time, you wouldn't believe how chaotic it can become.
I would argue that this is the worst Chipotle in the Twin Cities, but at this point, I'm not even certain. This isn’t my first disappointing experience at Chipotle, and I doubt it will be my last. I ordered my meal online, and they stated it would be ready by 6:00 PM, but I ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes for my food. You can't rely on them for a timely meal; chances are you'll be let down. I suggest steering clear of this Chipotle entirely.

I also sampled the new Garlic Guajillo Steak, and it was amazing. I was initially skeptical about whether it would be as tender as claimed, as I worried it might be tough, but it was cooked flawlessly and packed with great flavor. Although I typically prefer barbacoa, I believe this steak will surely become my new favorite choice.
From the moment we walked in, Chipotle Mexican Grill made me and the Check Yo Self Crew feel right at home. The amazing food and outstanding service turned our visit into a truly unforgettable experience. #CYC
