Chipotle Mexican Grill

This chipotle only escaped a one star rating because the staff was friendly. The entrance door from the mall was locked so we had to go outside to enter. Before we could even place our order, they told us they were out of lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. A quick look at the prep table was scary. All the food looked like it had been sitting out for a while and some items had that film on top.My son’s cheese quesadilla was heaping with cheese but burned on the outside. My Sofrito’s bowl was lukewarm at best. The chips did not taste fresh. They had no trays to carry our food to our table. The establishment was dirty and poorly stocked. This was the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. The grill was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The staff couldn't even properly roll and fold my burrito. Another customer at my table saw a fly in the corn mix, and when they brought it to the attention of the staff, they denied it and simply pushed the fly further into the mix. I was disgusted to see brown lettuce and the thought of a dead fly in my food made me lose my appetite. The food standards here are unacceptable.

I can see why this Chipotle has a low rating, not surprised. They could use some improvement. The employee who made the bowls was slow and seemed more interested in chatting with a coworker than serving customers. The restaurant was also dirty and unorganized. I will definitely be seeking out another place to eat next time.

To Cody, the general manager: We had discussed getting a refund because we did not receive any detailed items and were accused of missing items. I provided my information, but nothing happened. This is the AO Chipotle not PM. They are always all out of ingredients. Today they were out of steak, lettuce, onions/peppers, and last time I came to try the pollo asada and they were all out. Bad management? This is a constant at this location. Get it right plymouth meeting.
