Real pricey but that is to be expected from the boardwalk, got a medium and the amount felt closer to a large, good to see they are generous with the amount. It was about $10 and they come seasoned with very little salt. Thankfully this isn't too bad as they have old bay seasoning that you can put on top of the fries that they have in their condiments area. I would recommend doing this as the fries as they come seasoned is way too little that the flavor is lacking.Additionally, the fries are not crispy, almost as if they were only fried once and not fried again to give it that crisp that fries from other joints usually have (McDonalds fries for example). I take back what I said about slow in my previous review: our fries on night one 2022 were quick and delicious! Night 2: we had the fried shrimp platters. Shrimp were cooked perfectly, even after my boyfriend walked with them to the beach! Fries tasty, Cole slaw, not so great but is it ever, anywhere? I loved that the shrimp had tails removed. Wish they were always prepared like that! This year(maybe before and I never noticed) Chippy's has Mexican food! Only place on this boardwalk I've seen that, which is surprising. I've visited this restaurant several times, and they have great products. However, during my last visit, the young woman at the counter didn’t put the lid on my lemonade properly, causing it to spill everywhere. When I pointed it out, she simply offered to place the lid on the empty cup. Given the option of many other places that might provide better customer service, we've decided not to return.
The jalapeno pretzel should not have the word jalapeno in it. Literally not one piece of it in the pretzel... the pretzel wasn't even that good at all, didn't taste like a pretzel and had a very burnt taste. Money wasted. Will never get a pretzel from here again!

I highly recommend this place! The freshly made lemonade is fantastic, the French fries are cut and fried to perfection, and the fried fish is absolutely delicious.
Charged me twice. Fish taste like straigt batter no seasoning. Cashiers kept laughing. Overall terrible experience, don't stop here when at point pleasant.
Terrible service. I wouldn't recommend this place. It's definitely worth it to wait in line elsewhere.
Best french fries around. Always stop here when i crave really good fries
