"Lovely restaurant, very clean and excellent food. Seemed to be a couple of new staff who we felt were a little inexperienced and didn’t speak any English at all, and when he didn’t understand us (limited Spanish ourselves) he just walked off! You would of thought that they would have been finally having English visitors returning"

My twin brother Stephen and I were walking down the paseo in the La Carihuela area of Torremolinos when we decided to drop into Chiringuito La Jabega ,a chiringuito I always look forward to visiting on any holiday in take to this sun drenched resort. I love the look of this chiringuito ,the interior is superb ,light and airy ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, great decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the beautiful La Carihuela Beach. We sat outside as temperature hit the 90's,we ordered and were served bottles of Mahou green beer ,these were served iced cold and sparkling ,we kicked back, chilled out, soaked up the sun while sipping our beers. I really enjoy this beer ,it's perfect for the hot climate out here in the Costa Del Sol,a really bubbly lager style beer bursting with taste and when served iced cold as in this chiringuito is a totally refreshing beer indeed,it was just so good being in such a great chiringuito enjoying a great beer sat with my twin brother Stephen who is the best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on previoys visits to here we had a great time. Chiringuito La Jabega is easy to locate along Playa De La Carihuela and is well worth checking out if you're in the area.

I love the chiringuito's spread along the coastline of the Costa Del Sol ,one I always enjoy visiting is Chiringuito La Jabega. A great looking chiringuito ,interior is superb ,a cool looking serving bar ,great decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out into the beautiful Beach and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. We sat outside after getting bottles of Mahou green beer ,these were served iced cold and sparkling ,we chilled out and soaked up the sun while we supped our beers. A big fan of this beer ,light and hoppy ,bursting with taste and just so easy to drink ,when this beer is served freezing cold as in this chiringuito it's such a delicious beer indeed. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Chiringuito La Jabega is easy to locate along Playa De La Carihuela and is well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Food is great especially if you like seafood.Staff wonderful although we were in one night when spain were in a semi-final and we were told not to expect any food till the football had finished as all the staff were watching it although we did get our canas and vino so de nada about the delay. all the times we have been there the staff, food and atmosphere have been great. Would highly recommend.

Waiter working outside on beach certainly needs to learn a large number of customer service skills, or perhaps get a job which does not involve contact with people!!!! Waitress Maria was excellent, friendly and helpful......but waiter J.... rubbish!!!! Don't worry we have no intention of returning, next time we come back Larry's will be open.
