Chiringuito Takuara

I had a little higher expectations due to the very good reviews on HC. They offer a looot of vegan options, which is amazing! The menu is only available in Spanish and Catalan, so you maybe need to help yourself with the google translator camera. I had a little salad with vegan burrata (I had to try) for 15,50€ and patatas bravas with sriracha mayo for 7,90€. It was alright. The burrata was pretty firm and creamy, reminded me of a thick vegan creamcheese. I never had burrata (wasn’t a thing when I was an omnivore), but I think it’s supposed be be soft and of a more lighter consistency. It was good though. Salad rather tiny and the sprouts on top rather harsh soapy in taste. The view is nice (straight at the beach), the ambience so lala, plastic chairs make it not as nice. The area at the beach is a plus, but the value isn’t great. Staff was friendly and spoke english. I’d rather come back in the evening to enjoy the sunset with with a tapa or so. But would give the mains another try, maybe our choices weren’t the best.

Well, it’s not common to find a beach bar with these variety of vegan options. Half of the menu is vegan and their offer is really original for a beach club. I’ve eaten simpler things in high class vegan restaurants. I just can congratulate the chef. Plus the location is super. Right inside the beach. The staff was friendly aswell.

El sitio está a “pie de playa”. El trato excelente del personal y los platos están riquísimos con una presentación de 10! Volveré

Was so happy to have a vegan friendly place to eat after a day at the beach. It’s proximity to the train is also ideal

Vegan risotto and beyond meat burger. Some salads and desert as well! More than expected
