Chivo Taqueria - Reserva de mesa

Food was really inconsistent. The chicken thighs taco, party fowl I think, was excellent had good flavor and spice. By contrast the pork belly was greasy and tough and flavorless. And it doesn't help that the tortillas are not grilled or heated at all.Same with appetizers guacamole and green salsa for excellent red salsa and the queso not so much. It's a cool place with a goodvibe and a good location, if only their food was a little bit better. That's it quite a bit of beers and a ton of tequilas tomake all kinds of delicious margaritas.

I made the mistake of going on Cinco de Mayo, a Friday, at the dinner rush time. So the wait for a two top, was the standard 30-45min. But it was Absolutely worth it! The house margarita was delicious, with the proper amount of alcohol. The guacamole appetizer was amazing (enough for 4-5 people), The Gangnam Style and the Frying Nemo are perfection. I like order something different and sample the menu at most places, but I think I would place that exact same order again.

The restaurant offers excellent food, service, and atmosphere. However, there is often a wait during dinner hours and tables can be hard to come by due to the small size of the restaurant. The food is a fantastic value with generous portions at a good price. Some favorite dishes include the Guacamole Starter, BlackBetty cocktail, Gangnam Style and Cluster Duck Tacos, Brisket Burrito, and Street Corn side.

This place is industrial modern with some classical pieces thrown in. It is absolutely gorgeous. I ordered a Cease and Delicious. It was fruity, but not too sweet. I liked that the alcohol wasn't overpowering. My husband ordered the Black Betty.His drink was stronger, but it still had a great taste he kept stealing mine, though. Although I am mostly a carnivore, the avocado tacos were my favorite dish at this restaurant. I also enjoyed the ground beef and barbacoa tacos. I had high expectations for the pork belly taco, but unfortunately I did not like it (aside from the sauce).

Braden was fantastic! He made delicious drinks and gave great recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of my visit here and will definitely come back!

Great food. Friendly bar tenders. Attention to detail. Had the duck taco and a fish taco and corn, so good. Pricey, but was worth it.
