Very cute chocolate boutique, good selection. Service was very slow. I understand that with a small shop there is not a lot of employees. However, it is not hard to acknowledge the patrons in line. I am perfectly willing to wait in line, provided my presence is recognized. I’m not a fan of waiting 15 minutes with out so much as a “hi, thanks for coming in.” The truffles were tasty, the chocolate shell is very thick. (For context, I am a pastry chef).
Stopped in here to get some chocolates for my children, after waiting for more than 5 min for a customer to complete there purchases, another “lady” walked in, and immediately cut in front of our family, the store employee made no attempt to stop her, and acted as if we were “invisible “ (which is what my youngest son stated.. On top of the poor service, the products , and the store appearance were all sub, par.. Do NOT waste your time!!!
I came to the chocolate store at 4:58 PM as a sign says it closes at 5 PM.I was greeted very rudely by a woman who said whoever came in we are closed. I said we have driven far to come to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania today (2 1/2 hours) to experience the amazing town, as well as the homemade chocolates.This place is a house of rudeness not a house of love and delicious chocolate.
Great little spot downtown only a little walk from Bitty and Beau's. Their hot chocolate and their truffles are fantastic! The amoretto truffles with dark chocolate are my favorite but they have so many good ones it's tough to choose! My son liked the dark chocolate covered marshmallow. We were in town for a memorial service and spent part of the afternoon walking in town. We passed this store after stopping at the bookstore and stopped after our walk. The store has a good selection of chocolates. I purchased dark chocolate raspberry buttercremes. The service was very friendly and the chocolates were very good. I would easily return if in the area.
The store is tiny inside, for some reason I thought it was going to be a lot bigger. I got the cashew clusters, and wasn't impressed. Nuts were not roasted or anything. My husband bought some peanut butter balls which were better than the cashew clusters, but nothing special. Prices are expensive too.
I got a small variety of their chocolates. No prices posted anywhere. Almost $12 for less than half a pound. Nothing tasted great. The amount of chocolate on the Pretzels was a joke and I 'm not sure what was in their peanut butter , but it certainly isn 't actual peanut butter.
I have been coming here since I was 10 years old. It was always the first stop on our girls trip to Bethlehem. 20 years later, and it is still just as delicious as the day it opened. The owner and staff have always been super friendly, and I adore their seasonal decorations. Reserva una mesa ahora
Friendly staff, cute store.I guess the chocolate product is a good quality, not something exceptional and definitely not something that's worth $26 per pound.
