This, THIS, is what an ice cream parlor experience should be. Let’s face it, there just isn’t any reason to visit 99% of the ice cream parlors out there. Most of them serve over-priced, mediocre fare from strip mall locations. But this place, wow. Worth every bit of the price and then some. Amazing offerings, served by friendly staff, in settings that are so perfect they are almost beyond description. Water views, soft grass, with rockers, swings, and umbrella tables, made even more pleasant by endless summer breezes. The freshest and creamiest ice cream and chocolate, delivered in the most storybook of settings. And at a price not all that different from a generic franchise in any old mall....

The chocolate at this restaurant is incredible! The vanilla ice cream with chocolate shell on a stick (resembling a Brown Cow) is absolutely divine with the thickest chocolate shell I have ever had. The same delicious chocolate flavor can also be found in the treats sold in their store, allowing you to bring the experience home with you. Make sure to visit the Chocolatier store to admire the amazing artistry of all the chocolate creations they offer.

During my tour of Île d'Orléans, our guide brought us to this restaurant. It seems like a popular spot for their chocolates, but since I can't eat them anymore, I opted for one of their fresh sandwiches instead. The prices were reasonable and I enjoyed my meal at a picnic table outside, with a nice view of the St. Lawrence River and Quebec City. Despite some street construction blocking part of the view, it was still a pleasant spot to have lunch.

My wife cannot do dairy (but sometimes does anyway at expense of her stomach) so we rarely eat dairy. The dipped cone coating chocolate (or caramel or whichever flavor you choose) was so epic, so amazing, so life changing, we both got back in line immediately after finishing our first cones and got a 2nd cone. We travel a ton and I could not believe the coating could be so great! Worth the trip from Quebec City!

Best soft ice cream ever. The chocolate dips make it super special. They’re about 1/4” thick so when you eat the ice cream the dip doesn’t break into pieces like at every other ice cream place. . It’s like they applied a chocolate bar to the soft ice cream. Totally impressed. Go. You can thank me later!

The chocolate store and ice cream parlor was one of the highlights of the tour. The chocolates were pricey and we had the ice cream, although they weren't cheap either. We thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream. Worth a visit

Wonderful place to stay for a half an hour to have some ice cream and buy some local made chocolate to take with you. Tables to sit outside, good parking lot, toilets. Truly recommended if you're round Quebec City.

Decent location that you feel being in a local place. Delicious coated chocolate marshmallow with their dark hot chocolate. Fantastic taste, definitely worth trying. You must have a car to get there.

Nice stop on our trip around the island. The lady working was energetic and welcoming. The chocolate looked all so good we had a hard time deciding and we left with a lot of it.

You have to try the dipped ice cream cones! The chocolate is decadently rich, creamy, and thick. Simply delicious!
