I 've had Bulgogi Bibimbap many times in my past, but never a Galbi Bibimbap, so decided to try it here...This was a very casual joint in Suwanee...but quite spacious. There was only 1 Korean-fluent waitress, and she was very friendly. I tried my best to speak in my native tongue, though I 'm sure I sounded off. She was quickly on to me, and actually asked me if I needed a fork lol! *SIGH*As planned, I ordered their Dolsot Bibimbap w/ Galbi...which came in a huge skillet with a ton of veggies (pre-mixed . I also added this Sweet Corn appetizer, so that I can throw it into the mix. As expected, the dish was quickly delivered...all piping hot! Also as expected, it looked and tasted quite delis...

I come to eat here with my mom a few times a month and I love this place. The side dishes/바찬 are very good—especially the salad and kimchi. The meat is grilled, and the bulgogi generally has more of a drier texture than a marinated/“juicier” one, but it pairs very well with the light side dishes. I’m not sure how to phrase it in English, but the all the sides taste very fresh and create a cool/satisfying feeling as you eat. I grew up in a Korean household and have high expectations for Korean food when I go to Korean restaurants, but Choi’s Grill has some of the best Korean side dishes food that I’ve tried in the U.S. You can’t go wrong here. The lunchbox is only served until 3pm.

My expectations were definitely blown away, the hospitality was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comforting. The waitress that served me was extremely nice and helped sort out the menu for me to make it easier to decide what I wanted. The food came out in just a few minutes and was finished just as fast because of how good it was. I look forward to coming back in the future and bringing friends/family here!
