So we make a reservation for at around which was available on the open table app. I got the confirmation and headed over. When I arrived, the hostess said that they don’t honor reservations made less than hours before arriving... ok???! I kind of put up a fight and they reluctantly sat us down. They give us the menu and leave us alone for around minutes. We picked out what we wanted to eat only for the first waiter to show up and say “we can’t serve any food from the grill because it’s too busy and the kitchen is backed up. It will have to be sushi only”. I was shocked and if that was the case, why didn’t they tell me from when I showed up? I would’ve left and gone elsewhere as I had my year...
We went for my daughters birthday and we always have a nice time when we are there. Kyle was our server and he was great and so polite. I truly appreciated that. Our chef was great too. I have a gluten allergy and he accommodated that by using gluten free soy sauce on everyone's. I appreciated that too. My only complaint is the menu changes and the price increase. Especially for myself, with an allergy, I missed out on a couple of the items and still had to pay full price and there wasn't even an option for something different. If that could be changed, then I think it would of been a full stars for sure. I didn't feel like I got my moneys worth. Also now that I know you offer gluten free so...
Our server was talking to other servers quite a bit of the time so it was hard to get his attention to get more drinks etc. Our party and then one next to us didn't get part of their meal, but since we hardly saw our waiter, we just paid our bill and left. Oddly the was the second time this has happened at Chomps. They raised their prices again btw. The cook was excellent and did a good job with everything. I guess you go into Chomp knowing the cost is going to be huge, but still you'd think they would match it with the same service
The music was so loud that we could not converse with people in our own party much less try and carry on a conversation with the people at our table. We asked times to have it turned down. We almost got up and left, but the music was adjusted so we stayed. The food was great but the service was a bit lacking to go boxes and the bill took forever to get to us. The price is very expensive and the menu is misleading in saying a course meal, a pineapple slice is not a course

I wanted to give them stars but was disappointed with the bar area. While waiting for my spouse to get to our rsvp I waited at the bar, I figured I’d get a drink. No one ever came to attend me although the hostess went to the back to let someone know I was waiting. If it wasn’t for the great cook at the Teppan grill (jose) kudos to him! for making it a great dinner
My Valentines date went off perfectly; we show up minutes early and were seated exactly on time. Starter menu was fantastic, drinks were perfect, dinner was great. Recommended date spot
Waited for more than an hour with a reservation. Did not end up stayed, who knows how much longer we would’ve had to wait to be seated
The chef Jose is amazing cooks great and is great company. We request him any chance we get
