I have frequented Chop Chinook for a few years now; this place always delights! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, atmosphere is relaxed...yet above all, it 's taking time to do the little things. Today marks my 33rd birthday and I had the pleasure of saying hello again. A warm greeting from the hostess and birthday wishes, a happy birthday from our waitress Amy and if that wasn 't enough....a card signed by hand from the staff. There was a time Calgary 's service scene used to do those things. It fell by the wayside over the past few years and just wasn 't a thing... But when dessert came around with not just a lit candle but 'Happy Birthday ' written on the plate with chocolate...

The service was outstanding. The food was among the best meals we've had in a long time. The service was prompt and consistent, with minimal waiting between courses. Both the server and hostess were very professional, and they approached our table at just the right moments without interrupting our conversation. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be back. We enjoyed our appetizers, main courses, and dessert in less than an hour and a half from the moment we were seated. We lingered a bit longer to enjoy our drinks. It turned out to be one of the best anniversary dinners we've ever experienced.

We traveled from northern Alberta to celebrate our anniversary, and the service was outstanding! The staff were incredible, and the thoughtful gesture of a card signed by everyone, along with a complimentary dessert, added a lovely touch to our experience. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent customer service,everybody were friendly,food is excellent , me and my family really enjoyed the food but it should be nice if there's a complimentary fresh bread while waiting for our foods, but overall we are really happy with the service we received last night...thank you!!!

It’s a refreshing change from the Keg every now and then. However, my favorite dish at the Keg is the wedge salad that comes with the meal. At CHOP, though, it's priced as a $10 starter, which is a bit disappointing.

Fantastic, relaxed atmosphere and the food is always amazing. Service exceptional and prices are surprisingly affordable. Steak bites are our favourite appies. With gin tonic special on Saturdays!

Lobster was the special of the day and was fantastic. Our server was outstanding. Great recommendations for side dishes, and very attentive. A wonderful evening.
