Chopes Town Café - Reserva de mesa

I’ve been eating here for a long while and my favorite chile rellenos are from here. I don’t know what voodoo the cooks in the kitchen are using, but they are phenomenal. Recently went with my mother and her boyfriend during late lunch hours and it was quite pleasant. There were only two other tables occupied so if you’re looking for a quieter experience, go after 2 pm and before dinner.

Stopped to get some food to go on my way back to El Paso. I'd eaten there once before but I didn't remember the food being so good! I ordered tacos, enchiladas, and the Chile rellenos. The rellenos were the best thing smothered with green chile. Everything was absolutely delicious. Girls at the bar were nice talked to me while I waited for my order.

The service was terrible. I had to wait an hour and a half to get my food and 20 minutes just to get a menu that atmosphere was suffocating. There was no ventilation and it smelled Burnt Yup cooking oil in the air. I felt like I was in hell and I couldn’t wake up. It Was a terrible experience

Cool little small town divey restaurant-bar along NM-28 north of El Paso. I had the #2 combination (two ground beef tacos, an enchilada, and a chile relleno). Mine was excellent. My companion had the chile colorado that, I'm informed, was spicy-hot as hell. Reserva una mesa ahora

Been great for the 40 years of my experience with them. A little bigger now, but the same high quality food. Enchiladas and beer!

3 rellanos, rice and beans with an ice cold Pacifico! My all time favorite. The best!
