I had a few issues during my visit. First, the dish I posted a photo of was supposed to be tomato soup, but it didn't resemble any soup I've ever seen. It was clumpy and lacked the consistency of actual soup. Additionally, the "heavy dressing" option felt like a joke. What I received was far from heavy; if that's considered heavy, I can only imagine what the regular dressing is like. It wasn't nearly enough dressing for a full salad. To top it off, there were bits of ingredients in the salad that I didn't ask for. Overall, I was very disappointed.
tldr: The food is great but the website is really bad. The one star rating is a bit harsh, but it's intended to get across the point that there are like serious design flaws in their website/communication. The browser keeps erasing the password so you have to reset it every time. Also it can be hard to figure out if they're open and they're not always responsive when you call. And finally they don't accept orders over the phone.
Fareed (the manager) at the McLean location was super nice and accommodating. Very humble and always put a smile on my face. Ive been coming to this location for years, never seen everyone having fun like I did today. Everyone was working together and having fun. I will definitely be back ???? Ps: thank you for the birthday Brownie.
The staff at this location is wonderful, but the salads at Chopt are uniformly meh, and that?s a problem considering that?s all they have. Consistently leaves me with the feeling of eating a side salad at a highway stop. I?d love for them to look at Sweetgreen or something similar to see how to do salads well.

I'm really frustrated with my experience here. My bowls are not full, and I paid for a full serving! This is the second time this has happened. Please make sure to fill them properly. I might have to search for a different location because I'm starting to feel cheated and fed up.
Amazing experience After going to Chopt in DC Pennsylvania Ave comparing how Walter runs an excellent store and now i can say Watch out Walter Service was Top notch Food was prepared and care was taken to get it right I will be back
The Creamy Tomato Soup was enjoyable, but I feel that for the price of the Craft Your Own Salad, I could have purchased a bag of spinach and a generous amount of toppings at the grocery store for much less.
This is, hands down, the best Chopt location in Northern Virginia. The quality and portion size are consistently excellent! The Sesame Ginger Chicken Salad with Green Goddess dressing is my favorite!

My favorite salad saved me. I messed up dinner and needed a quick fix. They actually got my salad right for once, when I really needed it to be perfect.
