Recommended: this is a family-run business that seems to well-known around the neighborhood. It has warm and cozy dishes, such as Tom Yum Noodle Soup and spicy ones such as Red Thai Curry. They have fascinating alcoholic drinks that can be ordered sans alcohol. The meals give large portions, so maybe split a meal or prepare for leftovers. They play great music- Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, etc. This is a suitable restaurant for kids and adults. It's a small place, so if you have a large group, I suggest calling ahead.Kid-friendliness: It may not be a child's favourite place to be, but they are more than welcome and a parent can feel comfortable bringing them.

We had a wonderful experience at Choun Kitchen. I lived in Japan for 8 years, and have travelled quite a bit around S.E Asia and the Far East, and ate my face off in all the countries I visited, so feel I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Asian food.The food at Choun is authentic!! I was soooooo happy to discover this. We shared the laksa and a banh-mi sandwich with a side of Asian pear salad and it was all absoloutely delicious!The service was warm, friendly and efficient, and the ambience of the restaurant is amazing. This place is a win!We will definitely be back.

Visiting Choun Kitchen was a lovely experience. It was a sweet little cozy place with some of the best food I have had in the recent times. They have some great dishes from different parts of Asia on there menu, we ordered some street style fried noodles , Thai chicken curry, ramen and Vietnamese coffee, apparently my favorite. If you are in or around Cambridge and looking for a place to eat and are not shy of trying new things this is the place for you.

We ate on the patio so missed seeing inside the restaurant. The pad Thai was excellent and everyone else said the same about their food. The server was also excellent, not intrusive at all. She brought out pads for the chairs and an umbrella. Total was $100 plus tip for five at lunch. No booze, just water and a couple of tea orders. We'll be back, for sure. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was amazing! You could taste the freshness of the veggies used in the various meals I had. Had the fresh wraps, Bulgogi burger w wanton soup and churros. Each dish tasted delicious! I'd the say, the menu options are well priced. Had a 3 course meal for under $40. I wished the weather was better, because the patio looked very appealing.

Real hidden gem in the village of Hespeler. The dishes we had really packed a punch in flavours and textures. Everything was fresh and authentic tasting. Staff were friendly and helpful making suggestions for our first visit. Will return! Note, the entrance is down the side of the building and towards the back when coming from the street.

Had lunch catered for 12 people and what an amazing job. Food is so good, presentation was beautiful and they delivered it direct to us. This place is authentic Asian cuisine and there is something for everyone. And we got free dessert! Only pic we got of the food as it was so good we dug in before snapping any shots.

You need to try this place! Best Thai restaurant in the Tri-City area by far. Family run and the focus is on fresh ingredients, flavour, authentic dishes and great service. Never had a poor meal or experience here. Highly recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

Aug 18, 2023 was my first time at Choun Kitchen and will definitely not be my last. Atmosphere and service was welcoming.The food, presentation and taste was exceptional.I have a whole list of items I am eager to try.
