I live in Garrison, Texas, just a few miles from Nacogdoches. I had a craving for Chinese food, and on the recommendation of my nephew Ron, we decided to drive to Dine in Chow Wok Houston. Our experience was truly amazing. There were five of us, and we ordered a variety of dishes, including Cream Cheese Puffs, General Tso Chicken, and Pork Egg Rolls. The best value was the Chow Wok Family Meal, which serves four and was very affordable, especially considering the current inflation rates. They've really put a lot of thought into their menu and pricing. Kudos to the team! We'll definitely be back soon.
Edit: In response to the owner's offer to make dishes spicier, we will certainly ask for more next time. However, I prefer to experience the baseline flavor before requesting adjustments. I’ve been to other places where the medium spice level was overwhelming, so I wouldn't want to risk asking for more if it wasn't necessary. You are providing a quality product, and we'll definitely be back!
As for the food, it was disappointing. The chicken was tough and seemed stale, and it was drowning in sauce. The fried rice lacked flavor, but the egg roll was surprisingly good—I would consider going back just for that. The lo mein was also underwhelming and rather bland; we didn't even finish more than two bites.
I just order chinese food from this place, and while chewing my Beef With Eggplant I found a .10 cents coin in my mouth. Inmediately lost my apettite. I hope the owner reads this review and instructs the kitchen personnel to be more careful about and have hygiene while cooking.Please check the pictures.

My search for great Chinese food has finally come to an end. I am genuinely pleased with the food, service, affordability, hygiene, and so much more. Each time I visit, my favorite takeout or dine-in dish changes. This is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine in town.
Our go to Chinese restaurant! Crab puffs are always full and rich. Kung Pao chicken has the perfect level of heat. They also have masterfully prepared fried tofu dishes Highly recommend General Tso's Tofu, specifically. We've never had a dish here we didn't like!
Dine in first time here, Oh my, the food is so good, I can't wait to come back for more. I have the general Tso chicken, cheese puff and shrimp fried rice, they all are so tasty.Their employees are so friendly. I feel right at home.
