we recently wanted to invite our neighbours to Sunday dinner and I looked up high and low on tripadvisor for this special country house style place in the mountain landscape. christian's gas house seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. from leverkusen is the ride...from to wipperfurth approx. 45 minutes when you drive in a cozy, Sunday pace. we came across a very rural road and found the restaurant in a small valley. so good. there were many free parking spaces outside, which was also positiw. in the inner there was a cordial greeting that we were simply taken something back by having only a few lunches, we had the place almost completely for ourselves at least for the first hour or...

More by chance one had landed here once when one took a walk at the Neyetalsperre in the beautiful Bergisches Land. A typical mountainous half-timbered house laughed at us by the leaves of the trees. Between the left of the house you saw a large candelaber standing, and at the end of the inn there was a wild rose shrub. Since it was Saturday afternoon, fresh waffles with cherries and cream were read on the sign in front of the house. After our hike around the beautiful Neyetalsperre we were looking forward to returning to the outdoors quite attractive half-timbered house restaurant. The tables were very clean and attractively covered. The service (Chefin and Son were friendly, but slow and inmompetent. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the food. We had to wait almost an hour for the ordered standard dishes (breakfasts and sulches, although the number of guests was very manageable at the end of the noon. We were annoyed that other guests who had ordered the same food were served before us. The quality of the dishes was not satisfactory. After an extensive hike around the dam on Saturday afternoon, we would not have done that better. A small cup of coffee and a piece of apple cake were ordered. A large cup of coffee was served. Milk was forgotten, the dough of the apple cake was still raw igittigitt! the apples partially uncut with core housing bäh! Advertising was accepted plaumen cake as replacement. Okay, then it turned out, pancakes didn't exist anymore. New replacement offer: ice. Unfortunately there were no strawberries anymore. Finally 3 balls of ice on account of the house. Order without cream, get tastefully neutral with cream at best. Overall, only the natural location is recommended.

That's what I expected. Sog. Large breakfast was served as a sweetly clapped breakfast with dried bread slices... Not recommended
