More by chance one had landed here once when one took a walk at the Neyetalsperre in the beautiful Bergisches Land. A typical mountainous half-timbered house laughed at us by the leaves of the trees. Between the left of the house you saw a large candelaber standing, and at the end of the inn there was a wild rose shrub. Since it was Saturday afternoon, fresh waffles with cherries and cream were read on the sign in front of the house. After our hike around the beautiful Neyetalsperre we were looking forward to returning to the outdoors quite attractive half-timbered house restaurant. The tables were very clean and attractively covered. The service (Chefin and Son were friendly, but slow and inmompetent. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the food. We had to wait almost an hour for the ordered standard dishes (breakfasts and sulches, although the number of guests was very manageable at the end of the noon. We were annoyed that other guests who had ordered the same food were served before us. The quality of the dishes was not satisfactory. Although the supplement salad was tasty, the meat was not even in taste and...
After an extensive hike around the dam on Saturday afternoon, we would not have done that better. A small cup of coffee and a piece of apple cake were ordered. A large cup of coffee was served. Milk was forgotten, the dough of the apple cake was still raw igittigitt! the apples partially uncut with core housing bäh! Advertising was accepted plaumen cake as replacement. Okay, then it turned out, pancakes didn't exist anymore. New replacement offer: ice. Unfortunately there were no strawberries anymore. Finally 3 balls of ice on account of the house. Order without cream, get tastefully neutral with cream at best. Overall, only the natural location is recommended.
Wir waren heute gegen 15Uhr,wohlbemerkt,Freitag mit Oeffnungszeit ab 11.45Uhr durchgehend bis abends nach einer laengeren Wanderung im Christians Gasthaus.Wir wurden vom schlechtgelaunten Inhaber empfangen,der uns gleich sagte,zu Essen gibt es nichts,allenfalls Getraenk und Toilettenbesuch moeglich.Mein Hinweis, im Internet sei Oeffnungszeit an diesem Tag wie oben angegeben und draussen angeschlagen,sagte der immer noch unwirsche Inhaber,im Internet steht viel.Was für eine Arroganz.Wegen unseres Hungers haben wir eine Cola getrunken, um den Zuckerspiegel zu heben und den Rueckweg antreten zu koennen.Kann man nicht tagsüber empfehlen. Nie wieder!

Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich nur zu empfehlen. Wer gerne bodenständig-feine und französisch-angehauchte Küche liebt ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen nun schon seit gefühlten 10 Jahren zu Christian und es wahr jedesmal hervorragend und ohne Beanstandung. Wenn man Glück hat staubt man noch den ein oder anderen Happen aus der Küche ab und Christian läuft mit der Pfanne durchs Lokal.Auf jedenfall eines der Lieblingsrestaurants unserer Familie und ein spitzen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
Unfreundlicher, unpersönlicher und unstrukturierter Service. 30 Minuten nach unserer Bestellung fragten wir nach ob man uns vergessen hätte.Die Antwort war ein unfreundliches ja und der Zettel der Bestellung sei weg.Keine Entschuldigung und Nachfrage was wir bestellt haben.Also gingen wir ohne Kaffee und Kuchen wieder nach Hause.
Geht gar nicht!Erhielten bereits benutztes Besteck in einer Serviette eingewickelt.Sahne lief weg und Vanilleeis war lieblos mit einem Löffel in mehreren Teilen auf den Teller geklatscht.Berechnung des Wechselgelds war auch zweimal falsch.
Unstrukturiert und unpersönlicher Service zu Premiumpreisen - 20 Minuten nach dem Kaffee kam der Kuchen. Für ein schnelles Bier nach dem Spaziergang sicher geeignet
