They say its wheelchair friendly but i personally found it very hard to even get into this pub in a wheelchair. There are a few steps up from the street which lead into the outdoor area, so this way in wasnt appropiate for me. The side door which i think is actually the front door, isnt automatic so i had to wait for a passerby to open it for me so i could push myself inside. Once inside, i was faced with the dilemma of a few steps up to the dining room, or 4 steps down into the front bar, so both those ways in werent right for me. I went down a steep ramp into the pokie room and into the front bar that way, but the service staff missed me repeatedly as when i am in my wheelchair they cannot...
Visited on the 21/9/22STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!1. We waited for over an hour for two schnitzels one entree.With two hungry little kids, great fun!2. Our entree (the cauliflower balls) were cold in the middle soggy.3. We asked for veggies, got salad, guy said he would get veggies. Never did! Oh definitely loved the eye roll he gave us.4. Kids menu consists of:Chicken schnitzel, chicken tenderloins, chicken nuggets last but not least another deep fried variety battered fish.Pizza was not on the menu anymore.5. The place looks horrible now. Looks in complete disarray!No specials board, no salad bar, no kids ice cream machine.Overall I will never eat her again. It’s an absolute disgrace as this...
This is our local pub and we often go for a quick midweek dinner. It has the usual pub standards, schnitzels, steaks, roast of the day, seafood etc. Its very reasonably priced and has a really good salad and hot veggie bar along with a daily soup and 3.50 ice cream bar which is popular with the kids. The hotel often has cabaret type shows for around 40.00 a head which includes a meal and every Wed is quiz night which is very popular. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Fine dining it's not but if you want good honest pub food at pub prices you can't go wrong.
We go out of our way to visit christies beach hotel for dinner the meals are absolutely beautiful especially the chicken snitzel and aussie pizza is beautiful like no other. The lay out in this pub is great if you like playing pool and the pokies or wherever you prefer to eat your meal. We go hear when ever we get the chance to get out for a quiet night :)

Fully recommend going there.just a 5 minute walk to the beach and walk along the esplanade to beach road and shop or enjoy a coffee wine or beer at many of the boutique cafes there and then back to the christies hotel for a great meal. Accommodation there is awesome
Had a family dinner in the bistro and have never experienced such rude and obnoxious behaviour from hospitality staff - in particular the lady who took our order. There was eye rolling, sarcastic comments and snappy responses.
I must say the unbelievably rude and abrupt customer service received from one of the 'Front Of House Staff Bar/Waitressing Members' was enough to ensure my Family
The food is quite good value in the restaurant and the employees in the dining room were very helpful and accommodating.

Was a good bistro but recently has gone down hill. New owners and chef who doesn't know how to cook a burger.
Pretty good meal and good service staff friendly and attentive all meals served well busy cross type crowd
