We cook a lot, consider ourselves to be food snobs absolutely love this place! The food is so flavorful I can tell it is made with good quality ingredients. The new location has nicer seating service is always excellent. Portions prices are also extremely fair. I personally think Chubbfather 's is the best burger joint in Shelby county. Their Cajun horseradish sauce is my favorite. All the food we have tried thus far (steak totchos, burgers, wings) have been nothing short of delicious. Highly recommend!
Without a doubt, this is the best cheesesteak I've ever tasted. It was perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and tender, all served on a soft roll with a creamy cheese sauce. I'm practically salivating just thinking about it! The baked potato salad is my favorite way to enjoy that dish, and this version was excellent. My wife's chicken bacon ranch fries were also outstanding. The food here is truly fantastic!
I got the Chubba Burger and it was good. One of my companions remarked it was the best bacon he had in a long time. A little salty, but I have a low salt diet so maybe I am sensitive to it? The atmosphere was fine not dirty or run down, but not incredibly creative or inviting. The staff was very good, respectable, and attentive. I would recommend
Been in love with this place since Pelham; now they're in Alabaster. It's well worth the few extra miles. New place, same great food. The Pit Stop is my main stay order. The chicken tenders are set so high everything else is like heaven on a plate.

1st time eating here! I had the fish tacos and sweet potato fries! Both were delicious! Also had the fried pickles and ranch. My boyfriend had fries and a burger. We had an awesome time!

I had them at the American village 4th of July. Best hotdog I ever had hands down. I am now a chub father’s truther and my next date night will be here.

New location is awesome. Chicken was blackened and chopped on my sandwich. Made it fantastic on the Chicken and Sausage Poboy. Fried pickles are a must
A little pricey but food and the service is great so it's worth it. I always love going to Chubbfathers.
