The music was excessively loud, making it difficult to hear my parents, who were sitting across from me, without shouting. Although the burgers looked appealing, I learned the hard way that appearances can be deceiving. I ordered the chicken burger, and it turned out to be the blandest chicken I've ever tasted. The tenders were similarly tasteless. It seemed like the restaurant tried to mask the lack of flavor by piling on various toppings, including sauces, coleslaw, and even cucumber, but it all fell apart and was ultimately inedible. This was my first visit since the restaurant relocated to the other end of Rochester High Street. The new space is larger and designed in an industrial style, which unfortunately makes it quite noisy—definitely a different atmosphere compared to the previous café. The menu is still concise, featuring burgers, sides like poutine and mac and cheese, shakes, and various drinks, but it’s great to see that the quality and attention to detail are still impressive. On a sad note, I miss the food channel videos; they were fantastic.

Lefts waiting at our table for a long while and had to ask to order a drink! Burger prices are quite high and you don’t even get fries with your burger which bumps up your price even more, because of the smashed patty it went cold very quickly, my partner ordered a £14.50 burger and would class it as a standard burger not worth the price what so ever. Also ordered a side order of gravy £3 and it was runny! Service: Dine in

A member of staff at The Walnut Tree public house deserved to be thanked for her polite service She appeared very efficient was very well turned out and myself and colleagues thought she was an asset to the pubs staff and i would certainly return there again. Always top quality! This is at least the tenth time we've eaten here, and the standards never vary. Rachel provided excellent table service tonight, and it's exciting to hear that the brand is expanding everywhere—totally deserved! Be sure to try the Christmas poutine; you’ll thank me later! Amazing at chuck and blade tonight we was served by our lovely waitress for the evening Rachel. She was smiley, friendly, professional , informative and quick on her feet. Fantastic! Discovered this place by chance during a work trip. Seriously the best burger I have eaten in years, with a huge portion of delicious rosemary salted fries and a pot of cheese to die for. Thank god I don't live near here or I would be in every day. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
