Chuck's Burger Bar

Went in with family to try the place out. Started off with being told I couldnt have hot water with lemon because they have no way to make hot water other than using ths tap. We ordered 2 burgers, fries and a salad. It took over 30 minutes for 1 burger to come out with fries that were cold and the burger that did come had the wrong sauces. The 2nd burger was never made and we were told the burger ticket never got printed. Didn't help much that the 2 chefs in the kitchen were just standing around for the most part and seemed like chatting was more important than working and filling orders. Came in with my family for lunch today - couldn't hear the waitress or anything else for that matter. the music was SO loud. It's a small space and it was just way too loud. Like ridiculously loud. That being the only complaint ... excellent meal topped off with umbrella's;) we had 2 of the blue cheese bacon burgers , served with a huge mound of hot fresh crispy fries , coleslaw and a giant pickle spear! All was excellent. A huge amount of food. My mom ordered the blue cheese hot wing chips, which were good , better off ordering a giant burger for the price. Dropped in here on a friends recommendation. I ordered the blue cheese and bacon burger. Comes with coleslaw and fries. All good and I especially liked the coleslaw! It has a little hot spice in it. The burger was very good and about the only improvement I could make would be to toast both the top and the inside of the buns a little more thoroughly. The meat is nice and pink inside. This might be a turn off to some but this is exactly how I would make a burger at home. The amount of food justified the price tag of (I believe) $17.99 They alsohave a good draft beer menu but I will have to go back sometime when I am not driving myself. Good enthusiastic waitress!

Without a doubt Chuck's is by far the best place for burgers by a long shot. Each half pound burger is moist and flavourful. Also their free range organic beef is locally sourced. Their extensive menu offers a variety of toppings and combinations. I had the spicy Acapulco Gold and excellent choice!!The surprising winner here was their hand cut beautifully seasoned fries. I'm sad for anyone who's not eaten here. A plethora of unique items braised, sauced, melted and seared together. The menu is a massive mixture of comforting burgers, appetizers and salads making its own unique niche on an already uniquely put together menu. It's spectacular. The portions are big, the staff super friendly and the atmosphere bristles with a vibe of " I must eat ."Trust me, I own my own restaurant and I personally would eat here as much as I could if I lived closer. Great job Chuck !

We were a little apprehensive at first, as it was out of the way, and in an industrial area. It is a little rough around the edges, but the food is GREAT! So many varieties of burgers, Chuck's Favourite's, or made to order. Couldn't finish the fries - there was a lot of food. Excellent service, but lacking in space. Got a feeling that in a better location, with more space, it would do amazing business. But definitely the best burger I have ever eaten!

The quintessence of burgers. Hidden away in a industrial park, Chucks bugers are the ultimate burger experience. Burgers made from any number of meats, a long list of toppings, exotic cheese. The onion rings are damn good also. Only thing not perfect is the size of the establishment. It fills up quick.

Very generous helpings great fries and poutine. The burgers looked awesome! Across the hiway from Sidney near the airport.
