Yes!. You'd be mistaken if you thought the landmark Prince Of Wales Hotel in downtown Niagara On The Lake only had their signature restaurant, Escabeche. Inside is a place called the Churchill Lounge, which is a very pleasant find indeed. It has all the warmth and decor of a stately English reading room, with wood finishes, a fireplace and very inviting. <br/ <br/ The food is exciting, inexpensive and creative, which makes it accessible and gives the same fine dining feel to something that is also entirely casual. We visited the restaurant for dinner while in town for the day. Although we were seated outside, our table was wobbly and positioned at an awkward angle. The outdoor ambiance left quite a bit to be desired and could definitely use some enhancement. The service was satisfactory but not exceptional. We ordered the salmon sandwich with fries and the beet salad with chicken. Unfortunately, the food was quite average—nothing remarkable about it. Both the chicken and the salmon were rather dry.

What a fantastic spot to unwind! If the weather is nice, I highly recommend dining on the patio — it's perfect for people watching. The staff is incredibly accommodating! The smash burger is amazing! They also have a wonderful drink menu featuring a variety of local wines and craft beers. Treat yourself to a visit; you definitely won’t regret it!

Very busy spot for Peach festival, but it started pouring and we ran into the hotel and found the churchill lounge. Great spot, cozy! Loved our peach sangria! Thank you Andrea for the fun time and accomodating my parents. So in awe of the hotel, we took a stroll through, just gorgeous. First time and will be back next year!

I visited this restaurant for dinner after a show at the Shaw Festival, and I'm so glad I did. It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, but the highlight for me was our waiter and bartender, Jerry. He was absolutely fantastic and really made the evening special. I will definitely be back!

Had a great fall afternoon here with my wife in front of the fireplace. The fish and chips were excellent as we're the lamb burger sliders. Cozy, British and a definite place to return to.

The food was delicious, especially the lobster BLT and the fish and chips. I also tried the orange blossom iced tea, but it wasn't worth it—tasted like watered-down orange juice.

The pub offers truly fantastic food, and the kitchen is more than willing to accommodate special requests. The service is simply outstanding!
