Good cheese steak! The poutineries were great. Pro's: Clean restaurant with seating, very friendly staff, good food, nice location in Downtown Wyandotte. Con: price point on the cheese steak, for the size, I would prefer it, in the 4.99 series with additional toppings a little more extra and a double meat and cheese version in the 8-dollar area. I don't know how slim their profit margins are. To get really in downtown Wyandotte, you need the Hospital, BASF and Judicial staff on your side along with the high schoolers of Roosevelt. Wyandotte has a lot of food choices and although the restaurants support each other, its still fleeting competition. Your next cheese steak is Joey's cheese steak...
I have to say, I was really impressed with this place! It's located next to Big John's in the Genessee district. The steak was perfectly cut and cooked to a delightful texture, especially with the grilled onions and added mushrooms – it was a real hit! And don't forget to try the red sauce; trust me, it's a must! The waffles were also great, nice and light without being greasy like many others. I really enjoyed the cheese steak and can't wait for my next visit!

For just a few extra dollars, you can get a double meat sub, and I suggest trying the Italian HOT—it's fantastic, I promise!
The line at this place was incredibly long, but it moved quickly. I ordered both a chicken and steak sandwich at the downtown Detroit food truck station. Both were quite good, but the steak sandwich was the standout. I overheard a guy exclaim, "Wow, I need to sit down to enjoy this!" at the moment he received his order. At $7.50, it's definitely a great value for the price.

The Cheesesteak Institute of America catered my granddaughter's outdoor wedding for almost 200 guests. The bride and groom wanted something different and this turned out to be a spectacular idea.The food and service was top-notch, and we heard nothing but compliments from our guests. Thanks CIA you helped make the evening memorable.
Great staff and owners, if your lucky you'll see them there working along side the staff. Make sure you get the cherry relish on your cheese steak! Their soup and desserts are all homemade and incredible!
I order my cheese steak with yellow peppers and pepper relish cooked in but no onions. The seasoned waffle fries are great too!
