I came to Ciao Cucina to finally check out this new venue after having amazing dining experiences at Ciao Cielo. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and size of the venue. We ordered the Margarita pizza and it was possibly the best Margarita pizza I have ever tasted far better than even 400 Gradi, it was so fresh and delicious and once we ordered it came very quickly. The only problem was the service it was very poor and underwhelming (except for the staff in the private dining area which we accidentally went into). In the main indoor/outdoor area the waitresses really didn’t look like they were enjoying their job and it took ages to get served even though it wasn’t very busy, I would h...

We came here with friends on Saturday night. It was busy. We ordered a few wines, ciders, 3 entrees and mains. For entrees we had baccala Croquettes with dill caper salsa. This was fill of flavour and very fresh however they could've been bigger. We also had the risotto balls which were delicious but $8 each and fries. For mains we had yellow fin caprese, goats curd which was presented beautifully. My friend has been here before so she knew that this meal was small so she ordered the mushroom with goat curd. This was a good size. We also had the gnocchi with tomato sugo basil it was a good size and tasty and we had the chilli spanner crab spaghetti which was tasty but small for the price. Fo...

My Key Three Pointers Fantastic decor and atmosphere Aperol Sprits were spot on Loved the Dj Tunes Port Melbourne is a funny place considering the beauty that surrounds it, most nights are pretty quite on Bay Street and not much going on. Very happy that Ciao Cucina has brought some life to the area at nights. I have been coming to this spot under previous owners and even when it was a tile shop. This is by far the most beautiful and happening it has ever been. I did not get a chance to eat dinner but I did have a sneaky dessert. Really enjoyed the creme brûlée was very nice, the caramelized sugar on top was more like a toffee but I did not mind. The custard with banana was light and not ove...

Food came out within a reasonable timeframe. Self serve cutlery and water etc as this is the casual side of the eatery. Really enjoyed the hearty cauli’ gratin. I was warned of a 20 minute wait however it came out within that time. A couple of the walnuts were rancid so I didn’t eat the rest, however this didn’t put me off such a great taste. Perfect place to enjoy an Aperol Spritz in warm weather.
