When you have an opportunity to come, don't expect lavish ambiance. Where it may lack in decore, it far exceeds with its friendly and attentive staff. I ordered a bacon cheese burger. Not only did it arrive quickly, it came fully assembled with cold crip lettuce, tomato , onions, pickles, and mayonnaise. The french fries were hot and appeared to have been freshly cut. I will definitely be coming back. I forgot to mention, this place was pack with customers which is a good indicator of good food at a decent price.
The food was absolutely amazing! The eggs were soft and cooked to perfection, while the grits were just right—not too much, but perfectly portioned. The catfish was also excellent. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy, along with the pork chops and hash browns. As you can see, he was stuffed! I ordered the bacon, and it was cooked to a perfect crunch. The pancakes were delightful as well. We were not disappointed at all and can’t wait to return! I give this a 10 out of 10!
This is a locally owned restaurant, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. They serve a great breakfast at affordable prices, and the service is fantastic—very friendly and attentive. They also have a steam table for lunch, and I can't wait to come back and try the chicken parmesan; it looks incredible! We've lived in the area for 50 years, and this was our first time visiting. I definitely recommend adding this place to your list of restaurants to try!
OMG! Fabulous fried seasoned catfish, beautifully cooked soft scrambled eggs, buttery grits, fluffy biscuit and perfectly seasoned white gravy. Breakfast of champions BTW I have Google Maps tagged with places that I want to go to. And then once I go I 've got two other tags to change for Keepers and for been there done that probably not worth going back to with the other options) City Cafe is definitely a keeper Reserva una mesa ahora
This was one of the top three breakfasts I had during my three-week trip across the US! The waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the chicken was delicious. My husband enjoyed everything on his plate as well. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. We couldn't have asked for a better start to the day!
Very good food and service. Hubby wanted liver and onions, I don't cook it cause I don't like liver. My chicken fried steak was delicious . This place is a hidden gem . All the employees were very accommodating as this was a to go order. We'll definitely be back, next time eat there.
