When you have the chance to visit, don't expect fancy décor. While it may not be the most stylish, this restaurant excels in its welcoming and attentive staff. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived. The burger was fully loaded with fresh ingredients like lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and mayonnaise. The french fries were hot and seemed to have been cut recently. I will definitely return to this restaurant. Additionally, it was packed with customers, a clear sign of good food at a reasonable price.
This is a locally owned, we met the owners. Great breakfast good prices great service very personable. they have a steam table for lunch that I can't wait to come back and try the chicken parmesan it looks amazing!! We have lived in the area for 50 years and this is our first time to try it out definitely put it on your list of restaurants to try.
Very good food and service. Hubby wanted liver and onions, I don't cook it cause I don't like liver. My chicken fried steak was delicious ?. This place is a hidden gem ?. All the employees were very accommodating as this was a to go order. We'll definitely be back, next time eat there.
As a loyal customer, I can say that this restaurant has been serving delicious meals since 1953! Their breakfast dishes are top-notch, and the lunch options on the steam table are both generous in portion size and budget-friendly. I love that they offer different lunch specials daily.

Top 3 breakfasts of a 3 week trip through the US! Waffle was crispy and soft, chicken was great, everything on my husband's plate was good as well. Our server was super kind and very attentive! Started off the day on a really good note!
the first time here, only two miles from the airport, so it had to be our first station in houston. the last reviews had come here to check it...not disappointed!
that was great. I had the chicken fried chicken with carrots and green beans. my man had the Catfish/Shrimp platter. the garnels were hugh and had a great taste.
The staff is always friendly. They always get our order right and don't mind accommodating special requests. The food is very good.
