"Great selection of oysters and the white chocolate cheesecake was sublime. I was luck to get a spot at the bar as the restaurant was busy and I did not have reservations. Best to call ahead!"

We had an evening meal the Claddagh Oyster House and it was a truly enjoyable experience. We made a reservation for 7:00 mid-week when it was quiet. Service was excellent and our waitress was jolly, entertaining and efficient. The food from start to finish was superb: we dined on a nice variety of wonderful raw local oysters, followed by a boiled lobster for my wife and the surf 'n turf for me. The lobster was a reasonable size and cooked well. The surf 'n turf was fantastic - sweet crisp pork belly with seared scallops and a rhubarb/raisin salsa. We will definitely recommend this gem to any of our friends and colleagues visiting PEI and if we ever return then it will be our first port-of-call for dinner. Good food, great service and a good atmosphere.

Stayed a week in Charlottown, this was our least favourite meal. However, it was the best service we had during the week. We called for reservations, got a warm welcome from Jeff. The reasuant is quaint, lovely place to linger over a meal. Ate here many times years ago, we really looked forward to returning. Seafood is clearly their speciality, and that is what we ordered. We just weren't excited about the food. It just didn't have that wow factor. The coffee was great. It was by far the most expensive meal we had in Charlottown.

The place was full of people when we arrived but we got a seat at the bar. We took the pork belly surf'n'turf and it was really good. New PEI potatos on the side and it was a really nice meal made of local products. The service was good and the waiters kept asking if we needed more and offered help on advice for beers etc.

Ate here during the Canada Day weekend, luckily we had booked as others without bookings were turned away, the House was full.I tried the PEI Oysters, they were almost as good as Australian ones. The halibut was superb.Service was excellent and the atmosphere lived up to our expectations.
