Classic Dogs And More

My wife is from Chicago and we were looking for a good place to enjoy Chicago style food. We had high expectations today after reading all the 5 star reviews and drove over for lunch today. But...It was a disappointment. First the good: The selection is excellent. A good cross section of choices. The service was quick after ordering. The staff was friendly...but was not responsive to specific questions. It is difficult to listen...when your talking. The Bad: We both had the sweet Italian Beef sandwich and it was extremely bland. I have had better seasoned beef at Lion 's Choice. Plus...I have never had an Italian Beef sandwich that did not have caramelized onions or green peppers. This sandw...

Im not sure if I would return again, I have been in multiple times before but tonight it was terrible . The hot dog was cooked in a microwave would be my guess as it looked to have exploded and turned to rubber . And when first entering the building tonight after I knocked and woke the kid up behind the desk to open the door it smelled of rotting garbage inside, my guess would be the over flowing trash can by the door. So i'm not sure if I would return . I gave 3 stars because the chips and soda tasted fine.
