You can tell that a lot of care and attention is put into putting out the freshest product with homemade sauces and fresh (not frozen) fish. Very convenient to us being just up the road. Very affordable and easy access. Fish is very fresh. Burgers and other things on the menu have always been good. I think there has been a change of ownership recently as the batter on the calamari has changed (it's still amazing, I just was used to and loved the previous batter). We come here often and have never been disappointed. Would recommend

Edit: Tried this place again a few weeks back, and it 's FAR better. Fish chips weren 't greasy, and the potato scallops weren 't raw in the middle.<br/ The calamari was also very tender, and had a nice crunchy coating.<br/ <br/ Bonus points for the new salt shakers that actually work too!<br/ Looking forward to my next fish 'n ' chip fix now.
My first visit to Clayfield Market Seafoods. The server was really polite and very helpful. I ordered 2 cod, 4 crabsticks, chips and 6 fresh oysters. The food was delicious. Beautifully cooked crasticks. Generous portion of chips. Lovely battered cod and the oysters were lovely and juicy. Thanks for a great experience.
I ordered the Tradie's Lunchbox through UberEats and it arrived with a nice message on the bag! The crumbed cod was amazing, and the serving was really more than enough for a person of my stature. Tradie's Lunchbox indeed, I probably need to put in quite a few more hours in work to build up the appetite. It was just so good.
It's not bad. FIsh and chips are good, fresh seafood a bit overpriced but not horribly. Staff are nice and friendly. I've been here a few times and its consistent. Chips seem to be the frozen standard ones all the places have, they must order from the same supplier.

I buy fresh seafood here often, generally it's awesome and as good as the place in James St New Farm. Wish they had Coffin Bay oysters still, way better than the Pacific ones.
Battered prawns are amazing, they are so meaty and not just another frozen out of a bag! So is the fisherman's basket plus it's a huge size can easily feed 2 people.
