The food has always been enjoyable, but the customer service—both for dine-in and online carryout—has left much to be desired. During my latest visit, I placed an online order, and when I went to pick it up, the CBC Flatbread I had ordered was missing. No one reached out to inform me beforehand that it wasn't available, and upon my arrival, no one mentioned it either. I only realized it was missing after checking the bag. The establishment was clean and spacious. The menu has a lot of good options. I got the chicken and waffles. They were ok. The flavor of the chicken was but it was over cooked I wasn't a fan of the waffle and I had high expectations. The melange potatoes were really good. The customer service was lacking. No one greeted us coming or going but I don't know if that was the vibe lol. Overall I would give it another shot.
First time trying this breakfast and lunch spot!Really believe it’s a hidden GEM! Located in the Shaker area which is nice.The grits and blackened salmon were my favorite, second to that was the chicken and waffles. Breakfast is my favorite meal, and I really enjoy dining at CBC. The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are generous, and the food is delicious. I'm absolutely in love with the grits!
