This was our 4th or 5th time dining at Clever Koi. We sat on the patio which was comfortable once the outdoor misting system was turned off. The restaurant was great about that! The service was a bit slow initially but our food came quickly. The dumplings and the bao buns were all really good. We ordered the shaken beef which was disappointing. The beef cubes were so small and the portion of beef in the dish was even smaller. The noodle dish that we ordered, XO noodles, were very, very spicy and we all love spice but they borderline on being too spicy. They were disappointing too. Overall, a good meal not a great one.
One of our Favorite places. Great variety of Cocktails and the ones I have tried are terrific. The food is always good and we like to try different menu items, but I keep going back to the steamed buns. Hubby's favorite is the XO noodles with Pork Belly and Shrimp. On our last visit we finished with the Banana Fritters and they were so yummy! Be sure to try them.
I don’t generally leave reviews, but when a restaurant hits all the right notes, they deserve the kudos! Great staff and service, every dish we had was delicious and the ambiance is nicely done contemporary Asian. This place has such a great vibe and I love the atmosphere! The servers are super friendly but kind of slow service when we stopped in on a Thursday evening. The crab bao buns lacked flavor and were cold when they arrived but the short rib dumplings and ramen were delicious. I always enjoy eating here and try something different each time.

Great location. Staff is responsive and fun. Food overall is pretty good. Solid dinner date night choice, except it gets a little loud

Pork ramen the best!! And if you love spicy they have a oil sauce delicious
