Cliffhanger Restaurant is about a mile away from the bulk of accommodations at Panorama and well worth the walk. The road is lightly travelled, features a wide range of mountain homes to gawk at and conveniently aids in digesting the delicious meal you just ate. The room is spacious with soaring ceilings, large windows looking onto the snow covered golf course which is surrounded by mountains and plenty of room between tables for privacy. But we all came for the food, right?No disappointment there. Though not very expansive, the menu is varied enough that you may decide to come back to try out what you didn't choose the first time. For me, it was Tuna Tartare followed by one of the New York...
Ordered the Beef short ribs and they are just great. Served with mashed potatoes with some of the sauce from the ribs. Yummm so good. They have introduced house made pasta dishes now and wife tried the WILD BOAR & ELK SPAGHETTI $21House - made boar & elk meatballs, hand rolled spaghetti, tomato cream sauce, grana Padano, bruschetta. (copied and pasted from the menu)Friends also ordered the same as we did and all of us were very pleased with the food, friendly service and the ambiance of the restaurant. Will return soon and try one of the other dishes offered..
Visited the restaurant while touring the area. Atmosphere in building and the restaurant/bar was contemporary, updated with a great view of the mountains/valley. And a fantastic, wraparound patio. Service was friendly and attentive. Tried the Bruschetta Trio which was very good (overly toasted French bread however, but good). A nice light selection of bruschetta options; favorite was the mushroom combination. Mojitos were great. Most surprised how reasonable the prices were for the area (and being a golf course). Would return when visiting the area for sure.
My wife and I had lunch here after a round of golf and the food was terrific, the service was excellent and you have a lovely view of the course and the surrounding mountains. You can eat out on the patio if the weather cooperates but even the inside tables have a great view. The fish and chips were perfect and the chicken wrap was also very tasty. If you are staying at the resort, it is a 3 minute drive to Greywolf and this restaurant - I suggest that you take it! Reserva una mesa ahora
We had a superb meal for six last Friday. The food was superb as was the service. Four adults and two children aged 8 and 10 were very satisfied the result was six empty plates. There was more than enough room between tables to give you complete privacy. I would recommend this establishment as the best in Panorama resort. The only slightly negative thing is there is no shuttle from the village so you drive or walk, but it is worth it.
we were at Panorama Resort and ate here 3 times. We had three great meals and the service was excellent. My wife spoke with the chef about one meal about he was very open about what he does. One just had to get past a table of golfers who had obviously had a little too much drink. We would certainly go back if we are in the area.
Worth the walk from Panorama Ski Resort! Food was homemade... I mean everything, including the chips. The tuna tartare was so great, the waitress gave me the recipe. The four of us had appetizers, dinners and desserts that were all delicious and beautiful prepared. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
