Climax Brewing is likely to serve the best beer in New Jersey. As the oldest microbrew in New Jersey you can tell that Dave the brew master/owner cares deeply about his craft. While it's a little rough around the edges and not the shiniest or most modern venue this Brewery provides a home for a wonderful community of patrans. Drinking beer and sharing laughs feels easy on their cozy patio by a warm fire. The beers a traditional and prime in nature and Dave is always interested in sharing how he makes such great beer. Don't forget to bring a bite to eat, and check out the first Friday of the month for trivia. 5 out of 5. Can't recommend this brewery enough!
After some research, I discovered that Climax Brewery is the oldest craft brewery in New Jersey. Dave and his team have been consistently producing high-quality craft beers in German, English, and Belgian styles since they first opened. The quality of their beer has only improved over the years. It's clear that in the craft beer industry, consistency is key to staying in business, and Climax Brewery has been thriving since 1996. They are still open after 27 years and you can find their beers at various Barcade locations in New York City and Jersey City.
Dave, Eddy, Ken, Joe, and Mike are fantastic at this restaurant. The beer is great, the location is ideal, and the tours are informative. Parking may be limited, but street parking is convenient. They usually have a selection of 5 or 6 different beers on tap. The Golden Ale, ESB, and Snow Plow are particularly outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed and the quality is top-notch.
The owner Dave is fantastic but his bartender is a huge j Dude just gets drunk and doesn't even know the price of the drinks. Dude started cursing at us cause we accidentally left the door open. Would no go here if you're a POC.

Every Friday, visitors can tour and taste at this restaurant, and once they experience the tour, they keep coming back. The beer is affordable and tasty. It's unfortunate that they only have one option.

Always a great time at Climax Brewing. Really great beers. Snow plow is awesome and so was the blood orange IPA. Dave was responsive and all the staff makes you feel like family!
The owner, Dave, is great, but his bartender is terrible. The guy gets drunk, doesn't know the prices of drinks, and even started cursing at us.

I highly recommend visiting Climax Brewing Co. as they are the oldest microbrewery in New Jersey and conveniently located right off exit 137.
Very friendly and hospitable atmosphere. The beer is great too.
