Very disappointing after wanting to go here for a long time. We were seated in the overflow area. A little area by the front door and not in the main restaurant so had to put up with people constantly walking past to go to the bathroom or coming in to the restaurant. Even people coming in just to take photos. Food was good but overpriced for what you get. There was nothing romantic about our visit at all. Left totally disappointed and wouldn’t go again.
We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our son, daughter and the spouses. We could not have chosen a better place to do this! From the time we arrived until we left, we were so well looked after and made to feel special. The cocktails, food and wines were spectacular and, at the end of the day, the bill was really good value for money. This was a really great evening out and I would like to thank the staff who made it so memorable. Thank you.
My family and I went to this wonderful restaurant on Thursday night. The service was superb, the waiter, Gilles was attentive and very funny, and the food delicious. For me it felt like an old fashioned restaurant where the food and the customers were the focus of the staff. It was a place where the food and the customer were foremost in their attention.
Wow!! What an Experience. We Loved every minute and I hope to repeat the experience and book every Christmas. The food was lovely and the ambience was next level cosy and welcoming. Many thanks to the staff here for a wonderful lunch on Monday . We we’re celebrating our anniversary and had a wonderful time . Game rabbit hock terrine delicious. The Scottish halibut was also served beautifully. . St emmilion wine best ever . Nice touch with anniversary treats . Highly recommend. Upstairs decor mind blowing . See you soon x
Such a romantic restaurant, really did live up to its expectations. Great attentive service, we enjoyed food from the 3 course lunch menu, all delicious. Cocktails great quality, expensive but worth it! A very special place for a very special occasion. Loved it here!
The Clos Maggiore restaurant is excellent spot for special occasion celebrations. Received great service from Waiter Giles . Food, service and ambience are overall amazing!
