We love seafood and fell in love with Bacalhau here in Lisbon. This is, by far, the best place to enjoy it you walk through two huge ancient wood doors into a large space with a beautiful brick-arched ceiling, thoughtful decor, and a warm...welcome by Ricardo, who along with Mafalda, made our evening an experience we will never forget. Absolutely delightful! We focused on all things cod and started with smoked cod roasted in the oven (which is unusual to find we were told) served with tiny, tasty peppercorns and capers. we had high expectations due to the high evaluation of the restaurant. but the service was quite bad that we had to wait long to order after we had ordered the meal, the waiter came in 20mins to say that they did not have a second. part of what we ordered for two different people and had to change it. we even had to ask several times to bring us an additional bottle of water, the waitresses did not even have us some of the times we asked for, made aware and long waited for the water. And finally, when we wanted a second bottle of it we had first, they said again that there is no more the same wine. in the rule is the inner and eating well in the restaurant, but the service made it a bad expe...

I was in lisbon in the last night of my slumber week and we just went through this restaurant. the menu looked good, so we thought we would try. it was one of the best meals we had everywhere. the seafoods were excellent, we ordered the cod and the oktopus, it was *cooked kiss* tender. the fried pork bell was the best I ever had. it was so good and we were singing again and again that it is praised that other tables were ordering and equally impressed. the service was great and it made for a wonderful meal.

this is the place to go to lissabon. exactly what they would expect in portugal, but with a whirl of modern aromen, and it happens in the most beautiful street in the city. the waiters were remarkably nice. Thank you for having us!

Expansive, tiny and bad service. The food takes a long an awful amount of time to be served. Really bad experience.
