Co Do Bun Bo Hue - Reserva de mesa

I used the classic method of watching where Vietnamese locals were eating...and Co Do was definitely the most popular. It seems to specialise in the dishes of Hue (yummy, soupy, serious meats, lots of fresh greens)...but I had a hankering for Banh Xeo ('Sizzling Cake'= a crispy, coconut cream crepe full of mung beans, prawns and chicken and herbs- with a plate of mint and greens that you wrap around it and dip into a sauce... like san choy bau but even better). So= it was super fresh made, huge, about $15. The place was full on a Monday lunch time! Fresh orange juice (and lots of other drinks on the menu), tea in flasks on the tables, chilli in a bowl, pleasant service. They do not need more...

Me and my partner came here for dinner last night, the place was nice, clean and quite busy which is always a good signWe ordered the banh xeo, fried sticky rice and broken rice with grilled pork The quality of the food and produce was really good and fresh, the banh xeo stole the show for me as it's hard to find in Melbourne, it was Huge and delicious and was one of the best I've tasted The whole meal came to $35 which to me is ridiculously cheap for a meal this delicious and filling The staff were also very nice This will definitely become a regular place for us and I definitely recommend this to people that are looking for genuine Vietnamese cuisine

Plenty to chose from on the menu at this genuine Vietnamese Restaurant. Lots of local Vietnamese eating there so it had to be good and it was! The staff are friendly and patient and as mentioned, the menu is very extensive. The food was very tasty and the servings a good size; especially as the price was very reasonable. We went for lunch and were lucky to get a table for two. Our Crispy Chicken dish was $12.00 and the Meat Combination with Cashew Nuts was $16.50 - both inexpensive and good value.

Came here last week with my family and in-laws, a whole variety was ordered, although I had the standard combination broken rice, it was amazing. The service is great and the quality was high for the food. The staff are amazing, but I am not able to decipher their Vietnamese due to their different accent, still my parents did. if you like authentic (most of the outlets our there in the suburbs do a mix of Vietnamese/Chinese cuisine), this is the real McCoy.Nice, fresh, crispy (must try the Vietnamese pancake). We return often. How to have good food without breaking the bank, and away from the mess and high parking fees of the city..........

The staff was rude and the place had very poor ventilation. We were served fish despite asking not to have it in our vegetarian dish. They said they'll get a new one but simply took the fish out and reserved the same dish wish visible fish remains. Never going there again.

Dinner for my husbands birthday, went on recommendation but was disappointed. Beef in soup like rubber, mongolian beef sizzler the same tough rubbery. Two dishes did not arrive at table plus beer. On leaving they were charging for them. Pho soup was average wont return.
